mousemusic

mousemusic represents the media compositional work of Michael England.

Michael is an accomplished instrumentalist, conductor and composer who has worked as a professional musician since 1990. He studied performance and composition at Huddersfield University and in 2007 furthered his studies with a Diploma in Media Composition.
In May 2010 he attended the Film Music Institute orchestration course in Los Angeles.

He has been Musical Director for many of the top West End Musicals (Les Misérables, Jerry Springer - The Opera, The Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, and Monty Python's Spamalot), as well as appearing as a Guest Conductor for various symphony orchestras across Europe.

In addition to his media writing Michael has written arrangements for albums and concerts.  His classical compositions include both liturgical and orchestral works, and in 2012 a 40 minute ballet, commissioned by the Royal Ballet School, performed at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

His first feature film, Night Junkies, directed by Lawrence Pearce, was released in the USA in July 2007.

"Night Junkies; the music throughout works and blends in with the background very well, accentuating when it needs to but basically just giving the film a fuller feel, which is what a good soundtrack should do".
